CASE STUDY · THE GLOVE

How The Glove Got an Hour Back Per Recruiter Every Day.

50+ recruiters · Multi-city · BFSI, Engineering, Aerospace, ITES and more

Where Things Stood

The Glove has been in the business of placing people for over two decades. It knows what good recruitment looks like, and it had built a team capable of delivering it. But somewhere between managing 50-plus recruiters across multiple cities and keeping up with a growing client base, the cracks became harder to ignore.

A recruiter spending the better part of an hour putting together a status report for a client. Another one re-running a search because the notes from the last round lived in someone else's inbox. A team lead trying to get a sense of where three open mandates stood, and having to make five calls to find out.

Nobody was slacking. The problem was not the people. It was everything they had to work around just to do their jobs.

What They Needed

The Glove was not looking for more software. They had seen enough tools that promised to fix recruitment and ended up creating more steps instead of fewer. What they needed was something that understood how an agency actually runs, not how a corporate HR department does.

The difference matters. In an agency, you are managing ten clients at once, not one internal hiring process. Roles overlap. Deadlines compete. A recruiter might be sourcing for a CFO search in the morning and a batch of engineers in the afternoon. Any system that did not reflect that reality was going to be ignored within weeks.

We did not want a tool that needed to be managed. We wanted one that made the work easier to manage.

What Shifted

Three things changed quickly after bringing EzRecruit.

First, briefs stopped being a source of confusion. Before a recruiter began sourcing, the requirement was laid out clearly: what the role needed, what a strong candidate looked like, how many profiles to aim for. It sounds basic. But removing that ambiguity from the start meant fewer wrong searches, less rework, and fewer conversations mid-mandate to realign.

Second, the time that had been disappearing into tracker building came back. Every client has their own way of wanting to see progress. Previously, that meant recreating reports by hand, pulling data from different places, formatting it correctly, every time, for every client. EzRecruit generates those trackers directly from the workflow. An hour a day, per recruiter, returned to actual hiring. Interview scheduling followed the same pattern. Candidates confirmed slots through WhatsApp, eliminating the back and forth that had been quietly eating into recruiter time.

Third, and this one took a little longer to appreciate, the team stopped losing knowledge. Screening notes, candidate assessments, client feedback: all of it now lives in one place, attached to the right records, searchable by anyone. When a recruiter leaves or goes on leave, the work they did does not leave with them. A new person can walk into an ongoing mandate and actually understand where things stand.

In Numbers

  • 60-90 min returned to each recruiter daily, time previously lost to manual client trackers and scheduling candidates
  • 15-20 min faster per role at the sourcing stage
  • 25-40% less back-and-forth between recruiters and team leads before search begins
  • 80% increase in number of profiles submitted to clients

Closing Note

The Glove did not change its team. It changed the conditions its team works inside.
